Eagle Rock Notary Discounts

Eagle Rock Notary has always offered a special discount to current and former military members. The coffee shop discount was added about 15 years ago, since I live within walking distance to many of the popular coffee shops.

Military Discount

Eagle Rock Notary has always waived mobile fees for veterans and active duty military personnel who serve our country with honor. Members of the U.S. military use notaries frequently. Notaries are essential for authenticating documents like powers of attorney, wills, contracts, and other legal forms that service members often need, especially during deployments or relocations. Military bases typically have trained personnel, such as Judge Advocate General (JAG) officers or designated notaries, to provide these services free of charge to service members, their families, and sometimes veterans. The high mobility and unique legal needs of military life make notaries a common resource.

Government Code, Section 6107
No fee may be charged by any California notary for notarization of an application or claim for a pension, allotment, allowance, compensation, insurance, or any other veteran’s benefit.

Coffee Shop Discount

This is by far our most popular discount. During normal weekday business hours, between 9am and 5pm, the mobile fee is waived at any coffee shop in the 90041 zip code area. What about weekends? If an appointment is booked in advance, the discount will be honored. Plan ahead and save!
